Roger Welton, DVM | President, Veterinarian
Dr. Roger Welton is the president as well as an attending veterinarian of Maybeck Animal Hospital. Dr. Welton is a 2002 graduate of Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to graduating from Ross University in December of 2001, Dr. Welton completed one year of clinical training at the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as two preceptorships in the fields of medical oncology and orthopedic surgery at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Welton has completed advanced post doctoral training in reconstructive surgery of the knee, diagnostic ultrasound, and rehabilitation (cold laser therapy, acupuncture, nutritional and nutraceutical therapy). His special interests include surgery and emergency and critical care, but also enjoys promoting wellness through integrative medicine (combined traditional western medicine and alternative medicine with a focus on clinical nutrition and nutritional supplements).
David Fogelberg, DVM | Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Fogelberg joined Maybeck Animal Hospital as an attending veterinarian in January, 2013, bringing with him 16 years of small animal and exotics veterinary medical experience. Dr. Fogelberg graduated from Ross University, School of Veteirnary Medicine in 1996. Prior to graduation, Dr. Fogelberg completed one year of clinical training at the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed advanced post doctoral training in veterinary dentistry and has special interests in diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy, and surgery.
Jessica Boudreaux-Milligan, DVM | Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jessica Boudreaux-Milligan has had a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. She began shadowing an equine veterinarian at the age of 10, when she had her first horse, a Thoroughbred mare. During high school, her first job was as a veterinary assistant in the St. Louis, MO area. She continued working as a veterinary technician while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science (pre-vet) at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.Jessica later earned her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Saint Louis University in 2007. She practiced medicine in the St. Louis area in the fields of cardiothoracic surgery and emergency medicine before deciding to continue her studies in veterinary medicine in 2010. Dr. Milligan is a 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Her husband, Brian, and she have moved to Florida in May 2016 as a result of her husband’s career. As a native Cajun, she visits home (Raceland, Louisiana) and her family as often as possible. She has lived in the St. Louis, MO area for the last 20 years with her husband, and their Great Dane, Miles, their cat Bailey, and their American Paint Horse, Gaienne (Cajun French for ‘girlfriend’). She is an active runner, competing in half-marathons (and not so-frequent marathons), and previously participated in Western Pleasure and equine fun shows in Missouri.
Melissa M. Welton | C.V.T., Administrator
Melissa is a Certified Veterinary Technician, Administrator of Maybeck Animal Hospital, and wife of owner, Dr. Welton. Since graduating Parkland College, School of Veterinary Technology in 2000, Melissa developed a highly diverse resume in the field of veterinary technology. She began her career working at the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine for two years as a certified tech in the imaging department, primarily in radiology and nuclear medicine. After moving to New York with her husband, Dr. Welton, she worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in a private two doctor practice for three years, primarily as a surgery tech. Her unique realm of experience places Melissa in an elite class in her field. She also taught veterinary technology at Brevard Community College from 2006-2009.
Ingrid Culver | Practice Manager
Ingrid signed on as Maybeck Animal Hospital practice manager in January, 2013. Her previous 12 plus years experience in the veterinary profession both as veterinary technician and administrator is varied and comprehensive from a busy 5 doctor general practice, to most recently, a large emergency, critical care, and specialty medicine veterinary referral center.
Barbara Debbert | Receptionist, Veterinary Assistant
Barbara has been a veterinary assistant/receptionist with Maybeck Animal Hospital since 2001. Prior to joining the Maybeck family, Barbara owned and operated a reputable canine and feline boarding kennel for 24 years.
Felicia Rolfe | C.V.T.
Felicia Rolfe joined Maybeck Animal Hospital in April, 2013, concurrently studying to be a certified veterinary technician at Eastern Florida State College. Felicia graduate the veterinary technician program in 2015 and has been a full time member of our team ever since. Felicia is "Mom" to 2 kittens, Navi and Link, and in her spare time outside of work and school, she enjoys video games, painting, drawing, and reading.
Caitlynn Malito | C.V.T.
Caitlynn joined Maybeck Animal Hospital in January, 2008 getting on the job training while working toward her degree as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She graduated from the Brevard Community College CVT program in December, 2009 and has since been an invaluable member of our medical team. Her special interests include diagnostic histopathology and assisting in surgery.
Suzanne Perry | Receptionist
Prior to joining Maybeck Animal Hospital, Suzanne had previously earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in statistical data analysis and research methods from Saint Leo University. Her five star customer service has been acquired from twenty years in the hospitality and spa industries. As a proud pet owner with a passion to help others, she brought her vast customer service experience to Maybeck Animal Hospital's front desk team, joining the practice in March, 2013 . Suzanne is pictured here with her cat, Mr. Kingston.
Jill Eggen | C.V.T.
Jill graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors in Animal Science in 2011, specializing in Equine Science. Jill joined Maybeck Animal Hospital in 2011, gaining valuable on the job experience while earning her veterinary technician degree and certification at Eastern Florida State College. Jill graduated the program in December 2014 and is a valued member of our medical team.
Renee Waddell | Veterinary Assistant
Renee is pictured here with her beloved Rebel, her childhood dog and long time patient of Maybeck Animal Hospital since she was in middle school! Renee's passion for animals led her to join our medical team in 2013 as a valued veterinary assistant. In her spare time, Renee rescues and rehabilitates orphaned rabbits and releases them back into the wild.
