Melissa M. Welton

Melissa is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She also is part owner and administrator of Maybeck Animal Hospital. Since graduating from Parkland College, School of Veterinary Technology in 2000, Melissa developed a highly diverse resume in the field of veterinary technology. She began her career working at the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine for two years as a certified tech in the imaging department, primarily in radiology and nuclear medicine. After moving to Long Island New York in 2002, she worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in a private two doctor practice for three years, primarily as a surgery tech. Her unique realm of experience places Melissa in an elite class in her field. She also taught several Veterinary Technology classes at Brevard Community College from 2006-2009.
