Most are aware that the CDC recently relaxed mask guidelines for fully vaccinated individuals to be free to not wear masks even when inside.  In light of this naturally clients have been asking when we will transition from curbside service to having clients present in the building again.

Our intention is to go back to normal service as soon as possible, but we have yet to put a definitive time frame on when that will be for several reasons:

  • We still have some members of our medical team that are not yet vaccinated for health reasons.
  • We cannot verify if clients are fully vaccinated.
  • Vaccinated individuals are still potential carriers of COVID-19 and several members of our team have young children who have not yet had the opportunity to get vaccinated.

Our goal is to continue to provide the best possible patient care and client service, while keeping our medical team, their families, and our clients safe.  Thus, for the current foreseeable future, we will be operating with curbside service.  Our protocols will evolve as we receive ongoing evolving guidance from the CDC, American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and American Animal Hospital Association.

We are all very grateful for the patience and good will our clients have displayed through the changing phases of the COVID-19 pandemic.  On behalf of our entire medical team, I bid you all a sincere THANK YOU!
